Steps for improved congestion management and cost allocation for transit
This report presents a number of quantitative analyses focusing on economic gains and losses from electricity trade, together with results of two interview rounds with stakeholders from the transmission system operators, regulators, and national producer associations in each country. Eight proposed steps for improved congestion management and cost allocation in the Nordic power market are developed. The report was produced for the Nordic Electricity Market Group, the Nordic Council of Ministers, by Ea Energy Analyses and COWI.
