The concept of the creative industries refers to those activities which have their origin in individual creativity. The creative industries represent one of the fastest growing areas of the global economy. The Nordic Region would be able to brand itself as a leader in the creative industries.
Nordic media co-operation is important to strengthen Nordic local, national and regional expression and to communicate experiences and stories with a Nordic identity. The Nordic countries co-operate through a wide variety of different activities such as, for example, the Nordic Film & TV Fund, Nordvision and the Nordic Journalist Centre.
