NORA and The Nordic Energy Working Group for sparsely populated areas are hosting a workshop on energy efficiency in transport on land and at sea, in Reykjavík 3-4 December 2008.

The workshop will provide a North Atlantic perspective on a sector, which can significantly contribute to reducing harmful emissions and offset the negative consequences of climate change.

The results will be communicated to the Region's business community, who are either players in the transport and fisheries or heavily dependent on them. Business representatives are also encouraged to take part in the workshop.
