Nordic Green ll is a follow up on the successful Nordic Green 2008 and is a two day conference covering a broad spectrum of green technologies where Nordic companies have world leading innovations. Nordic Green II is the premier forum for Nordic companies to gain exposure and connect with entrepreneurs, industry leaders, potential customers, researchers, and experts in the dynamic Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem.
The United Nations declared 2010 to be the International Year of Biodiversity. The Nordic Council of Ministers will also mark this theme year. One of the high points of the year will be the UN's large biodiversity conference being organised in Nagoya, Japan, in October.
This year's ecofair will focus on green economy and green living, the topics that the Nordic Council of Ministers is currently focusing on. Man-made climate change is driving many people to despair. However, we all can do something for a more sustainable future. Buying ecolabelled products is one way of being a more considerate consumer and protecting the environment.
Seminar with the winners of the Nordic Council Nature and Environment Prize 2010: Merkur Andelskasse (Dk), Ekobanken (Sv) and Cultura bank (N). The prize is awarded to a Nordic individual, company or organisation, which has worked to make an impact on the financial markets, the asset management industry, banks or consultants, and encouraged them to adopt a long-term perspective and integrate sustainability into their asset management.
