Funding from Nordgen

The purpose of the funding from the Nordic Genetic Resource Centre (NordGen) is to expand co-operation between the Nordic countries with the help of further education and exchanges of experiences and to increase the participants' knowledge of plant production. The outcome does not have to be mutual. To be eligible for funding, the employer must pay a corresponding amount and help cover the costs.

Grants from the Nordic Council of Ministers under the Nordic strategy for sustainable development 2009–2012

The Nordic Council of Ministers has granted funding for projects which contribute to the implementation of the Nordic strategy for sustainable development in climate and renewable energy; sustainable production and consumption; the welfare society; and education and research, public participation and local sustainability strategies. There will be an external call for project funding in 2012.

The Nordic Forest Research Co-operation Committee's funding scheme

The Nordic Forest Research Co-operation Committee (SNS) funds research related to forestry, forests and other wooded areas (landscapes, parks, urban trees and marginal land), the utilisation of wood and other forest products, as well as the non-commercial values of the forests. The fund provides support for co-operation involving at least three Nordic countries. The project may also include countries in the Nordic Region's Adjacent Areas.
