The Border Committee Värmland-Østfold is working to strengthen and simplify co-operation between Värmland in Sweden and Østfold in Norway. The committee wants to improve co-operation in the region by involving Swedish and Norwegian national, regional and local authorities.

Border Service is an information service for commuters and others who travel between Sweden and Norway. The service is a co-operation between the counties of Hedmark, Akershus and Østfold in Norway and Dalarna and Värmland in Sweden.

Bottenviksbågen

Bottenviksbågen är en kustzon runt Bottenviken i den nordligaste delen av Östersjön. Bottenviksbågen har ett strategiskt läge i skärningspunkten mellan Östersjöområdet och Barentsregionen. Båttenviksbågen kan fungera som länk och mötesplats mellan dessa områden såväl kommunikationsmässigt som socialt, kulturellt och ekonomiskt.

Freedom of Movement Forum

The Freedom of Movement Forum is a political body, set up by the Nordic governments to foster freedom of movement in the Nordic Region for individuals as well as businesses.
In dialogue with the governments, the forum aims to identify, prioritise and suggest solutions for concrete obstacles between the countries.
The Forum is run by a Chairperson appointed by the prime ministers, and the Nordic Council of Ministers' Secretary General. The forum also consists of a representative from each of the Nordic countries including Åland.

Gränskommittén Østfold - Bohuslän/Dalsland

Interreg IVA - Øresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak

The EU programme Interreg Øresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak is part of the new Territorial Co-operation Objective which aims to strengthen co-operation across borders in the EU and adjacent countries. The programme funds cross-border co-operation projects between partners from Norway, Denmark and Sweden for increased growth and sustainable development in the southwestern part of Scandinavia.

Interreg - Sverige-Norge

EU-programmet Interreg Sverige-Norge ingår i det nya målet "Territoriellt samarbete" som ska stärka samarbete över gränser i EU och angränsande länder. Målet bygger på det tidigare gemenskapsinitiativet Interreg. Det finns tre former av samarbeten inom Territoriellt samarbete: gränsöverskridande samarbete, transnationellt samarbete och interregionalt samarbete. Interreg Sverige-Norge är ett gränsöverskridande samarbete.
