10 million for creative industry
The Nordic Innovation Centre (NICe) is calling for tenders from the so-called 'creative industries' for a project pool totalling NOK 10 million. "Help realise the potential of the Nordic-Baltic creative industries," NICe writes in its tender document.
NICe is inviting Nordic and Baltic companies, organisations and research institutions to submit project proposals in four categories:
- funding solutions for creative industries, e.g. proposals for how to make seed capital more readily accessible and bolster creative clusters:
- copyright and intellectual property, e.g. using copyright to add value and identify which business models work best with intellectual property rights to generate growth:
- the Nordic Region enjoys advantages in many sectors, especially in design, e.g. how might Nordic-Baltic co-operation improve and strengthen industrial design in the eight nations:
- inter-sectoral initiatives for interactive digital products and services, e.g. strategies for growth in the games market and the development of new computer games.
The deadline for submitting tenders to NICe is 16 October.
