NordBio, a new Nordic initiative on bioeconomy, along with the conclusions of a major regional project on energy and transportation are the topics in focus of the new issue of the web magazine “Green Growth the Nordic Way”.

A main function of the Nordic Council of Ministers is to serve as a meeting place for politicians, civil servants, scientists, business people and committed individuals from across the spectrum of NGOs and other organizations.

In the new edition of “Green Growth the Nordic Way” you can read about two such meeting places:

  • A conference held in Iceland launching a new Nordic bioeconomy initiative, NordBio - part of the programme of the Icelandic chairmanship of the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2014.
  • A conference in Stockholm rounding off one of the so called globalisation initiatives of the Nordic Council of Ministers, dealing with energy and transportation.

We hope the ideas from both will find their way around and outside the Nordic region.
