In June, a group of Russian parliamentarians from both the State Duma in Moscow and regional parliaments in North-West Russia will visit Copenhagen and Stockholm. It would be fair to say that good progress is being made in strengthening the bonds between the Nordic Region and Russia.

The Nordic delegation’s programme begins in St Petersburg, where they will visit the Nordic Council of Ministers' Information Office and speak with some of the office’s local partners.

In Pskov they will meet with the governor, with the Speaker, Boris Polozov, and with other members of the regional parliament, which has drawn up the programme.

They will also visit the local university, a textile factory and the Puskinogorsky district.

In June, a group of Russian parliamentarians from both the State Duma in Moscow and a number of regional parliaments in North-West Russia will visit Copenhagen and Stockholm. Earlier in the spring, Russian and Nordic politicians held a lively roundtable discussion in Murmansk, and young politicians did the same in in Archangel.

Nordic-Russian co-operation is progressing nicely at the moment.
