Facebook’s Head of Global Policy Management, Monika Bickert, will be the keynote speaker at a seminar in Stockholm on 13 and 14 September, which will see experts and members of the Nordic Safe Cities network come together to discuss their experiences of how to prevent online radicalisation.

Monika Bickert’s global team is responsible for deciding the sort of content that can be published on Facebook. She will speak about the role of social media, and share her experiences with representatives from the more than 40 Nordic towns and cities that are members of the Nordic Safe Cities network in an effort to help them become better equipped at combatting online radicalisation in their areas.

Bjørn Ihler, a survivor of the Utøya terrorist attack in Norway, will also speak at the seminar in Stockholm, which is the second of its kind this year.
