Working Group for Fisheries Co-operation (AG-Fisk)

AG-Fisk was set up in 2009 and takes over many of the functions of the former working groups NAF and MiFi. AG-Fisk is the operative body of EK-FJLS (Fisheries and Aquaculture), and attends to project administration for the committee of senior officials. The primary function of AG-Fisk is to implement the strategies established by EK-FJLS (Fisheries and Aquaculture) and the Nordic Council of Ministers, and to perform an advisory function towards EK-FJLS (Fisheries and Aquaculture) and the NCM.

Nordic Working Group for Diet, Food & Toxicology (NKMT)

The working group is responsible for the implementation of "The Nordic action plan for improved health and quality of life through food and physical activity".

Nordic Working Group for Food Safety & Consumer Information (NMF)

The working group is responsible for activities within legislation, inspection and control, labelling of food and consumer information.

Nordic Working Group for Microbiology & Animal Health and Welfare (NMDD)

The objective for this working group is to ensure that the Nordic authorities for animal welfare and fodder work together in an effective way.

Nordic Committee on Food Analysis (NMKL)

The committee compiles methods of analysis and guidelines and organises training courses within the field of food analysis. The committee also acts as a network for Nordic food analysts.
