- Tax agreement with Uruguay

- On Wednesday 14 December Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland as well as Greenland and the Faroe Islands, signed an information-exchange agreement with Uruguay. The agreement is part of the Nordic countries' joint endeavour to put a stop to tax evasion and is the continuation of a project in the formal framework of the Nordic Council of Ministers.

Nordiska rådet beslutade därför på sitt möte den 3 november att dra igång det som kan bli upptakten till en större nordisk framstöt om matavfall. Det är i linje med de nordiska statsministrarnas önskan om att upprioritera samarbetet om avfallshantering i Norden.
