Nordplus 2008-2011
Mobility - Network - Project
Nordplus is the Nordic Council of Ministers' education and training programme. Nordplus consists of a framework programme with four sub-programmes aimed at different target groups from schooling to higher education.
The programme funds mobility, projects and network activities and is open to institutions, organisations and others whose main purpose is education and lifelong learning or who work within this area.
Nordplus covers the five Nordic countries, including the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland, as well as Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The Nordplus sub-programmes are:
- Nordplus Horizontal
- Nordplus Junior (schools)
- Nordplus Higher Education
- Nordplus Adult
- Nordplus Nordic Language and Culture
There is a Nordplus office in each of the Nordic countries. The Nordplus offices in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark are each responsible for their own sub-programme and are co-responsible for the others. Nordplus Language and Culture is outside the framework programme and is administered by Iceland.
The application deadline is 1 March every year.
