- Nordic Network for Adult Learning (NVL)
- This network works to draw attention to competencies and experience through adult learning in the Nordic countries
- Co-ordinating Committee for Nordic Studies Abroad
- The Co-ordinating Committee for Nordic Studies Abroad works to promote language teaching in the Nordic countries, in Nordic culture and social conditions as well as to increase interest for the Nordic countries in foreign universities and in society in general. The Committee, a body under the Nordic Council of Ministers, gives an economic contribution to joint Nordic events initiated by teachers at the institutions.

- The Expert Group Nordic Language Council focuses on consultancy, especially in regard to an improved language understanding for children and young people.

- Nordic Co-operation Board of Natural Sciences is a co-operation of the Nordic research councils that finance scientific research.
