The Nordic countries face many common challenges, e.g. as a result of globalisation, an ageing population and climate change. Nordic co-operation on working life provides the countries with an important platform for the exchange of information and mutual inspiration. It helps the countries achieve their objectives of expanding the work force, promoting health and welfare at work and improving the ability of the labour market to change.

  • Grants from the Nordic Council of Ministers' Labour Market Committee

Project funding from the Labour Market Committee is directed at Nordic projects that deal with working life. The projects can, for example, include analyses, conferences or theme meetings, which help improve co-operation between the Nordic countries with reference to mutual exchange of experiences in the sector. The projects funded by the Labour Market Committee must have a Nordic aim and involve at least three Nordic countries. The Committee also looks favourably on applications that include the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland.
