Funding from the Nordic Council of Ministers' Environmental Co-operation

The Nordic Council of Ministers' Environmental Co-operation funds projects whose aims are in keeping with the Nordic Environment Action Plan and/or the programme of the annual Presidency. At least three Nordic countries must take part in the project, which must generate clear Nordic synergy.
Pilot project for BAT for noise reduction for small, medium and large enterprises in the Nordic Region
The Nordic BAT group would like to invite Nordic noise consultants to submit tenders for a pilot project for noise reduction for small, medium and large enterprises in the Nordic Region.
Funding from the Terrestrial Ecosystem Group
The group funds Nordic projects within its field of expertise based on annual priorities. The overall goal for the group is to manage the natural environment in a sustainable manner, and to protect the values of the processes of nature and cultural landscape so that ecosystem services are maintained. The group has a broad mandate which covers the preservation and sustainable use of nature, biological diversity, landscape, cultural monuments and cultural environment as well as outdoor life. The work also covers the relation between climate change and biological diversity, landscape and cultural environment.
Funding from the Climate and Air Quality Group
The Climate and Air Quality Group' (KoL) is a working group under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers for the Environment. The group funds Nordic projects within its field of expertise based on annual priorities. The Climate and Air Quality Group contributes to the overal Nordic goals of preventing serious climate changes, and preventing damage to the environment and human health caused by air pollution.
Funding from the Working Group for Aquatic Ecosystem
The Working Group for Aquatic Ecosystem (AEG) is a working group under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers for the Environment. The group funds Nordic projects within its field of expertise based on annual priorities. The Working Group for Aquatic Ecosystem aims to support the Nordic countries with activities which contribute to building up scientific material as well as create the basis for joint efforts to combat pollution in the Nordic marine and coastal environments.
Financial support from NEFCO
NEFCO is an international finance institution established by the Nordic countries. NEFCO finances investments and projects mainly in Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus. NEFCO finances projects and investments that generate positive environmental effects of interest to the Nordic region.
Funding from the Working Group for Sustainable Production and Consumption
The Working Group for Sustainable Production and Consumption (HKP) is a working group under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers for the Environment. The group funds Nordic projects within its field of expertise based on annual priorities. The group is a cross-sectoral co-operative forum for the environment, business and consumer sectors. The overarching goal for the group is that consumption and production takes place in a way that improves the state of the environment and health, while ensuring effective and sustainable use of resources.
Funding from the Nordic Council of Ministers' Working Group on Environment and Economy
The Working Group on Environment and Economy (MEG) is a cross-sectoral group whose mandate is approved by both the environment sector and the finance sector of the Nordic Council of Ministers. The group funds Nordic projects within its field of expertise based on annual priorities. The group's overarching objective is to help to create an economic development which building on sustainable production and consumption patterns.
Funding from the Nordic Chemicals Group
The Nordic Chemicals Group (NKG) is a working group under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers for the Environment. The group funds Nordic projects within its field of expertise based on annual priorities. The overall goal for the group is to minimise negative health and environmental effects from chemicals in products, emissions and waste.
Funding from the Nordic Waste Group
The Nordic Waste Group is a working group under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers for the Environment. The group funds Nordic projects within its field of expertise based on annual priorities. The group works towards sustainable processing of waste products in the Nordic countries and Europe. The overall goal is to minimise the environmental impact of waste in a life cycle perspective.
