The Danish Ministry of Education invites you to a Nordic conference on understanding our neighbouring languages with particular focus on Danish. The conference "Why is Danish so difficult?" will be held in the North Atlantic House in Copenhagen and is part of the Nordic Language Campaign. It is co-hosted by the Nordic Language Co-ordination and the Danish Language Board.
Nordic Climate Day

Nordic Climate Day is being organised for the third time on 11/11/2011. This year the theme is food and the climate. The aim of the Climate Day is to encourage pupils and teachers to have discussions on the climate through a theme day consisting of different climate-related assignments and competitions. Awarding of prizes to the winners of the Nordic Council of Ministers competition to develop good language tools

There are two winners of the Nordic Council of Ministers' competition to develop proposals for products that can be used in the Council of Ministers' work to improve children's and young people's understanding of Danish, Norwegian and Swedish in all the Nordic countries. The Council of Ministers will present diplomas and flowers to the two competition winners at this fringe event. Two musicians from Orkester Norden will play music and light refreshments will be served.
