The information service “Hello Norden”
It aims to facilitate freedom of movement for private individuals in the Nordic region. On the website you can read about the rules that apply when moving to, studying or working in the Nordic countries. You can also ask questions about your specific situation in Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish and Icelandic.
Hello Norden has information offices in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Åland. You will find the links to the different offices on the menu on the left.
You can use the form on the websites for moving, studying and working if you want to ask one of the offices a question.
Hello Norden organises information seminars for administrators in the authorities to inform them about the rules that apply to private individuals who move between Nordic countries or are otherwise affected by the laws and regulations in more than one Nordic country.
The Hello Norden offices - in co-operation with, amongst others, the Freedom of Movement Forum - use the information they receive from private individuals on obstacles for freedom of movement in the Nordic countries to make relevant politicians and officials aware of the problems and possible solutions.
