Copenhagen

Copenhagen is located in eastern Denmark on the islands of Zealand and Amager. The city has a population of around 500 000 and about 1.2 million people live in the larger metropolitan area. Copenhagen is also the capital of the rapidly evolving Øresund region and has since 2000 been connected to Sweden by the Øresund bridge.

Conference venue – Eigtveds Pakhus

The conference venue Eigtveds Pakhus is located on Asiatisk Plads in central Copenhagen, next to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

The venue is easily reached from Copenhagen Airport Kastrup by taking the metro to the stop Christianshavn. The journey takes less than 15 minutes.

Eigtveds Pakhus is located within walking distance from Kongens Nytorv in the eastern end of the pedestrian street Strøget.

Accomodation/hotel

All participants are required to book their own accomodation. See for example Hotels. com, Arp-Hansen Hotel Group and SAS Radisson Blu for ideas to this end.
