Swedish-Norwegian Co-operation Foundation

The Foundation aims to promote Swedish-Norwegian co-operation and encourage mutual exchange and information on Swedish and Norwegian culture and society. The Swedish-Norwegian Co-operation Foundation was established by the Swedish government in 1949 through funds provided by Norway. At the same time, a corresponding foundation was established in Norway, with NOK 3 million. The two foundations have a common board of directors and were united in 1993.
