Graviditet och förlossning i Sverige

Här får du veta vad som gäller för dig som är gravid och föder barn i Sverige.

Om du är gravid

I Sverige har alla rätt till fri mödravård. Är du gravid har du rätt till gratis mödrahälsovård under hela graviditeten och kontrollerna är frivilliga. Första besöket brukar ske i vecka åtta till tolv. Du väljer själv vilken mödravårdscentral du vill gå till och har även rätt att byta mödravårdscentral under graviditeten.

Förlossning

Du kan själv välja vilken förlossningsklinik du vill föda på, men ibland kan du bli hänvisad till en annan om det är fullt. Vissa landsting erbjuder även ekonomiskt bidrag vid hemförlossning, under förutsättning att vissa villkor uppfylls. Kontakta Landstinget i den kommun du ska föda i för att få reda på mer om hemförlossning.
