Åland's flag

Åland's flag was added when a new autonomy law gave Åland the right to have its own flag. The flag was adopted by the Åland Landsting in 1953 and subsequently approved by the Finnish President in 1954. Åland's flag is a light blue cross flag with a red cross outlined in yellow.
