Denmark's flag

The Danish national flag is called Dannebrog. According to legend Dannebrog fell from the sky in Estonia on 15 June 1219. Dannebrog means "Danish cloth" or "well made material". Dannebrog is red with a white cross. The cross design appeared first on the Danish flag and has since been taken on by the other Nordic countries.
