Can circular economy be part of the solution in curbing climate change? (Sitra)


This high-level event will discuss how circular economy can support climate action and be a part of the solution to the global climate challenge. The event gathers an influential audience to hear and discuss about the circular economy as a concept and regional action plans for a circular economy in Ontario, Finland, and the Netherlands. The event ends in a panel discussion about the role of the circular economy in mitigating climate change. The event takes place at the New Nordic Climate Solutions Pavilion - Section DEL2, Blue Zone, COP22.

Presenting the circular economy concept and its practical applications (Director Mari Pantsar, Sitra, The Finnish Innovation Fund), insights from leading circular economy countries and presenting the Finnish national circular economy roadmap (N.N.), panel discussion with international experts.
