The Nordic countries have a joint pavilion at the UN Climate negotiations in Marrakech, November 7-18, 2016, under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers. The Nordic pavilion at COP22 will highlight New Nordic Climate Solutions through a series of events and activities focusing on a greener future.
Policy makers around the globe is faced with new urban challenges as urban development shall navigate between millions of new dwellers, demand for CO2 reduction and adaptation to climate changes. In this session, Nordic experts give their perspective on how to plan ahead making cities smart, liveable and sustainable. The event takes place at the New Nordic Climate Solutions Pavilion - Section DEL2, Blue Zone, COP22.
