Towards improved tracking of public and private climate finance (OECD)


The event will feature recent achievements, on-going initiatives and collaborations in tracking public and private climate finance, as well as highlight inter-linkages and synergies with frameworks and methods to track finance for development. The event takes place at the New Nordic Climate Solutions Pavilion - Section DEL2, Blue Zone, COP22.

Speakers and panellists will reflect on:

  • Recent achievements, on-going collaborations and next steps on data and methods for tracking public and mobilised private finance for climate action in developing countries.
  • What is needed to support robust and transparent tracking systems for climate finance and remaining gaps.
  • Implications for the UNFCCC.
