What happened to the youth involvement?

The last UN Biodiversity Conference, Cop 14, opened a call for youth to participate in the negotiations and for countries to involve youth in their delegations.

Now, we are at the brink of COP15 there is still no common inclusion or official monitoring of youth inclusion in the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) process and negotiations

Keynote speakers will present Youth inclusion practices and 5 new recommendations for meaningful youth inclusion in the CBD.

The panel of youth, researchers and policymakers will discuss if we are ready to include youth and take steps to make it more transparent for youth?

The discussion will be moderated by Emma Susanna Turkki, Denmark's Youth Delegate to the UN on climate and environment.
