The project will
- analyse the degree of self-sufficiency in food in the countries/regions taking part
- analyse the positive and negative consequences of greater self-sufficiency in food from economic, social and environmental perspectives
- describe the potential and challenges involved in greater self-sufficiency in food in the countries/regions taking part
- describe good examples from each country/region, which are transferable to other countries/regions in the project and/or to the Nordic Region in general.
The project is an initiative of the NCE sub-group for small societies. It is being run under the auspices of the Nordic Working Group for Circular Economy (NCE) with funding from the Nordic Council of Ministers.
