Here you will find links to all emergency numbers and health centres in Greenland.

Emergency numbers

If you have been injured or are in need of emergency medical care, you can find the emergency numbers for all towns and villages in Greenland at the Greenlandic health portal:

General practitioners

If you need medical attention from a GP, you can contact the region's health centre by phone, and after a short conversation about the problem, you will be given a time for an examination. You should be aware that calls can only be made at a specific time, and that there may be waiting times. Be patient and wait – you will get through eventually and get the treatment you need.

If you live in Nuuk, you can ask general medical questions and get prescriptions renewed via the e-doctor website:

Specialists, physiotherapy and other specialist areas

You must first be examined by a general practitioner at the health centre before you can be referred to treatment by a specialist, physiotherapist, etc.
