About Industrial Relations Committee (NAU)

The Industrial Relations Committee was set up by the Nordic Committee of Senior Officials for Labour (EK-A) to help implement the Nordic Council of Ministers for Labour's (MR-A) co-operation programme.

The remit of the Industrial Relations Committee (NAU) includes exchanging information and experiences within the Nordic Region, initiating projects and regularly evaluating and following up on on-going projects.

Remit and action plans

The Industrial Relations Committee was set up by the Committee of Senior Officials for Labour (EK-A) to help implement the Council of Ministers for Labour's (MR-A) co-operation programme. 

As part of the implementation process, the Industrial Relations Committee draws up annual action plans based on the priorities outlined in the programme for the annual Presidency of the Council of Ministers and on the committee's remit, duties and strategy. The Industrial Relations Committee’s annual reports include descriptions of activities in the previous year, ongoing and completed projects, brief evaluations of completed projects and of how its project funding was allocated.
