Thirteen nominees for the 2019 Nordic Council Literature Prize

Thirteen Nordic novels, short stories, and poetry collections have been nominated for the 2019 Nordic Council Literature Prize. The winner will be announced in Stockholm this autumn, with the following works competing for the prize.

About the Nordic Council Literature Prize

The purpose of the Literature Prize is to promote interest in the literature and language of the neighbouring countries. It is awarded annually along with the other Nordic Council prizes for music, film, and the environment and children and young people’s literature.
