Frank Bakke-Jensen appointed Minister for Nordic Co-operation

Minister for EEA and EU Affairs Frank Bakke-Jensen (Conservative) takes over from Elisabeth Vik Aspaker as Norway’s Minister for Nordic Co-operation.

Frank Bakke-Jensen comes from Båtsfjord in Finnmark. He is now in his second term in the Norwegian parliament as the Norwegian Conservative party’s spokesperson for fisheries policy, and is a member of the Standing Committee on Business and Industry. 

Bakke-Jensen takes over as Norway’s representative in the Nordic Council of Ministers with the task of co-ordinating Nordic co-operation during Norway’s presidency in 2017.
