Nordic Committee of Senior Officials for Justice Affairs (ÄK-JUST) is composed of senior officials responsible for legislative work in the Ministry of Justice in their respective countries. The committee prepares and follows up on the ministers' annual meetings. It sets up working groups and initiates joint Nordic projects. The main elements of the Programme for the Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers are discussed by the committee before they are put into effect.
