The Nordic Council has an office in Brussels, the purpose of which is to keep track of EU matters that may be of interest to the Nordic Council, as well as to maintain contact with Nordic stakeholders in Brussels. Contact between the European Parliament and the Nordic Council is especially important. The office opened in September 2017 and is staffed by one person.
