Sustainable consumption and production

01.12.17 | Project
Through the Generation 2030 programme, the Nordic countries are focusing on an issue that challenges the whole of the Nordic Region in its fulfilment of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals – sustainable consumption and production. The prioritisation of this issue will continue until 2020.

01.12.2017 - 31.10.2018

Sustainable consumption and production is a very broad topic, covering everything from the use of resources and chemicals, to public procurement, tourism, and much more. The Nordic Council of Ministers has therefore embarked on an analysis of how the Nordic countries stand in terms of achieving SDG 12.

“Sustainable Consumption and Production – An Analysis of Nordic Progress Towards  SDG 12, and the Way Ahead” was conducted by PlanMiljø and launched at the UN High-Level Political Forum in New York in July 2018.
