No fewer than 75 nominees from all over the Nordic Region will be on hand in the City Hall in Stockholm when the Nordic Council prizes for literature, music, film, children and young people's literature and nature and environment are awarded between 18:30 and 19:30 on 29 October.

The DKK 350,000 Nordic Council prizes will be presented by last year's winners Kim Leine, Sisse Graum Jørgensen, Selina Juul, Pekka Kuusisto and Seita Vuorela. The Swedish Prime Minister, Stefan Löfven, and ministers and politicians from all over the Nordic Region will attend the ceremony.

Swedish Television (SVT) will record the event, and later the same evening the hosts – Jessika Gedin and Kristofer Lundström from the cultural programmes Babel and Kobra – will interview all five winners in the studio. Their programme "Nordens bästa" (Best in the Nordic Region) will be broadcast on SVT2 on Friday 31 October at 20:00 and repeated on Saturday 1 November at 18:00.

It will also be broadcast by all of the other Nordic public service broadcasters:

Norway: NRK2 on 1 November at 20:00

Denmark: DRK on Sunday 2 November at 20:00
