Royal couple to take part in Nordic Council prize award ceremony

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik and Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary will both take part in the Nordic Council prize award ceremony on 1 November at the DR Concert Hall.

The Danish-Swedish singer Caroline Henderson will host the ceremony, which will see the winners of the Nordic Council prizes for children and young people’s literature, film, literature, the environment, and music awarded their prizes by previous winners.

The award ceremony will be broadcast live on DR’s streaming service DR TV, where it will also be available to view afterwards. The ceremony will also be streamed on RUV and Svenska YLE. NRK will provide a live stream at nrk.no and will broadcast the programme with subtitles on NRK2 during the afternoon of Wednesday 2 November. SVT will broadcast the ceremony with a slight delay on SVT Play. The programme will also be shown in the Faroe Islands.

The Nordic Council prize award ceremony takes place in conjunction with the Nordic Council’s Session in Copenhagen from 1 to 3 November.
