Awarding of prizes
Every year the Nordic Council awards a literature prize, a music prize, a film prize and a nature and environment prize.
The objective of Nordic Council prizes is to increase interest in Nordic literature, language, music and film. The Nature and Environment prize goes to individuals or organisations that have shown extraordinary initiative in the field of nature and the environment. Each prize is worth 350,000 Danish kroner.
