A celebration of culture, the environment and Nordic co-operation

The award ceremony for the Nordic Council prizes 2014 was a fabulous celebration for everyone - the winners, all the nominees, politicians and others who came to honour Nordic co-operation, and especially its desire to support culture and work for a better environment in the Nordic Region. Denmark, Finland and Norway each won a cultural prize while Iceland took home two prizes, the film prize and the nature and environment prize. Iceland will moreover be the host for next year's prize ceremony, as the country will hold the Presidency of the Nordic Council and will therefore be able to put its own mark on the ceremony.
