Nominated for the Alingsås local authority project 'houses without central heating', which will communicate knowledge, support building, ensure quality and participate in research in this field.
Sweden's most energy efficient terraced houses are to be found in Lindås outside Gothenburg, where the need for purchased energy is 40 % of that in comparable houses. 300 flats in Alingsås are now being renovated with the same passive house technique, and a preparatory school is being built according to the same principles.
