The Nordic Council of Ministers today held its second meeting on the status of the corona virus in the Nordic countries.

Health ministers from all parts of the Nordic region again took part in an informal video conference on COVID-19 under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers for Health and Social Affairs. Denmark holds the Presidency of the Council of Ministers this year, and the Danish Minister for Health, Magnus Heunicke, hosted the meeting.

“It is important that we keep each other updated at all times on how the Nordic countries are dealing with the enormous challenges we all face due to COVID-19. There is undoubtedly much to learn from the COVID-19 pandemic, both in the Nordic region and in the rest of the world, and we must stand together if we are to emerge from this global crisis as well as possible,” says Magnus Heunicke.
