The Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania will mark its 35th anniversary at the BŪTENT! discussion festival in Vilnius on August 28–29 2026.

Inspired by the Nordic tradition of democracy festivals, BŪTENT! brings together citizens, experts, activists, and decision-makers for open and constructive dialogue.
The Nordic Tent will host 10 discussions organised together with the Nordic Embassies and a wide network of partners. Nordic and Lithuanian speakers will explore some of today’s most relevant topics - from healthy lifestyles and culture to resilience, democracy, equal rights, and the future of the Nordic-Baltic region and our societies.
