The Nordic expert group on family law consists of representatives from national departments responsible for family law in the Nordic countries.
The group shall seek to strengthen Nordic co-operation in the area of family law, including combatting obstacles to freedom of movement that arise between the Nordic countries as a result of legislation. The group contributes to the exchange of experiences and also co-ordinates the positions of the Nordic countries in an international context.
