EXPO: Nordic Energy Days

The Energy Days are dedicated to advancing resilient, efficient, and low-carbon energy systems. Taking place over two days, on June 16 at EXPO 2025 Osaka and June 17 at Hillside Plaza in Tokyo, the event will convene industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to explore new avenues for Nordic-Japanese collaboration in the energy field.

On Day 1, June 16th in the Nordic Pavilion at EXPO Osaka, the programme will consist of sessions on renewable energy, flexible power grids, and value chains for hydrogen, ammonia, and CO2. There will be two Nordic presentations; one about the Nordic Hydrogen Valleys project by Nordic Energy Research, and one about the Next Wave project by Nordic Innovation. 

 

On Day 2, June 17th in Tokyo, Nordic Energy Research and the Nordic Council of Ministers co-leads a session on hydrogen and e-fuels for heavy-duty transport. One session will be facilitated by the Nordic Council of Ministers and Nordic Energy Research.
