EXPO: Play Nordics

Since its inception as the Great Exhibition in 1851, the World Expo has served as a global stage for innovation, cultural exchange, and visionary collaboration. At Expo 2025 in Osaka, the Nordic region will proudly present "Play Nordics", a full-day seminar hosted at the Nordic Pavilion, dedicated to exploring the dynamic and evolving landscape of the global games industry.

This event will spotlight the links between the Nordic region and Japan, two creative powerhouses in game development, through a series of curated presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. The program aims to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration across borders, celebrating the unique strengths and shared values of both regions.

By bringing together key actors from across the value chain, Play Nordics seeks to inspire new collaborations within Nordic-Japanese game development.
