National youth organisations in the Nordic Region
The Nordic Council of Ministers works with a wide range of youth organisations. The youth representatives on the Nordic Committee for Children and Young People (NORDBUK) are appointed by the national umbrella organisations for children’s and young people’s organisations in their respective countries and regions. All of the youth representatives on NORDBUK must represent an organisation currently active in their respective countries and regions.
The umbrella organisations for children’s and young people’s organisations in the Nordic Region
The umbrella organisations for children’s and young people’s organisations bring together multiple different associations and organisations, e.g., scouts, student organisations, church associations, environmental groups, social organisations and the youth wings of political parties.
