The Nordic Scouts are nominated for their long-standing tradition for outdoor life and commitment to the environment, as well as the opportunities the organisation has given Nordic children and young people through the years to experience and understand nature.
The actual prize will go to a programme for outdoor life and the environment, the “22nd World Scout Jamboree 2011” where 30,000 youngsters from all over the world will come to the Nordic countries to experience Nordic nature and culture
