P/F OSR has built up a highly advanced response battery (defence mechanism) in a number of places to guard against possible oil leaks round the islands.
With all the oil companies prospecting the sea bed round the Faroes and drilling for oil, it is very important to have all the means available in case there is an oil leak.
The work done by OSR is very important for the marine environment in the northern Atlantic.
