Bridging the Digital Gap through Reverse Mentorship

This publication presents a practical, community-based model for bridging the digital divide through intergenerational exchange. By empowering youth to mentor older adults in digital skills, the initiative fosters social inclusion, civic engagement, and leadership development. Drawing on Lithuanian and Nordic experiences, it offers two adaptable models for implementation - in schools, libraries, NGOs, and beyond. Pilot consultations confirmed the value of one-on-one support, and the guide includes tools for scaling the approach sustainably. The model promotes mutual learning, stronger communities, and a more inclusive digital future.
