Vulnerable children need support on their own terms – this requires inter-disciplinary and inter-professional teamwork. How can a co-ordinated, cohesive, and relevant range of services be developed for vulnerable children, young people, and their families? This question was the basis for the Nordic project “Nordic 0–24: Cross-sectoral co-operation on vulnerable children and young people”.

How can a co-ordinated, cohesive, and relevant range of services be developed for vulnerable children, young people, and their families? This question was the basis for the Nordic project “Nordic 0–24: Cross-sectoral co-operation on vulnerable children and young people”.

The conference will be an opportunity to share the lessons learned, as well as specific examples from projects in the different countries. The aim is to promote better co-ordination and ensure that children and young people get the help they need in order to be included and complete their schooling. The project shows that it is vital that children and young people’s own lives are the starting point for the support they receive.
